Third Annual Event Set For Thursday

BROCKTON -- The Caring Adults Committee of Brockton’s Promise will host the city’s third annual Mentor Recruit Rally Thursday, Jan. 27th.
This free event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Shaw’s Center, 1 Feinburg Way.
Attendees at the event will be able to learn about mentoring opportunities available in the city, at no cost.
Pre-registration is recommended.
The event will feature keynote speaker Ron Burton, Jr., director of Community Relations for the Boston Red Sox, and director of the Ron Burton Training Village. There will also be a performance by the Brockton High School Jazz Band, and the announcement of the Promise in Action Award for Exceptional Mentoring.
Dinner is also included.
There is a $25 fee for interested in reserving a resource table for their agency or organization.

Brockton’s Promise is an Alliance for Youth that works toward providing all youth, and their families in Brockton with the tools they need for success. Begun in 2003, the program is modeled after America's Promise.
