BROCKTON--When the Brockton High School Pops take the stage tonight they will be joined by alumnus Karin Bliznik, an accomplished trumpet player with several national symphony orchestras.
Bliznik, a 2002 Brockton High School graduate, is coming back to her stomping grounds to play with the band that helped give her her beginning: Brockton High's Pops.
She is currently Principal Trumpet for the Charlotte, N.C., Symphony Orchestra, Santa Fe, N.M., Symphony Orchestra and is Associate Principal Trumpet for Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
The concert begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Tickets are $3
