BROCKTON--Brockton native Kenneth Feinberg, appointed by President Barack Obama to oversee a $20 billion claims fund against BP Oil following the horrific oil facility explosion last August, will be the keynote speaker at the South Coastal Counties Legal Services & New Center for Legal Advocacy's "Welcome Spring" cocktail reception, Thursday, March 24.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Fuller Craft Museum, 455 Oak St., Brockton.
Tickets are $50. There will be a cash bar.
South Coastal Counties Legal Services, or SCCLS and New Center for Legal Advocacy, or NCLA, are non-profit agencies and the principal providers of free civil (non-criminal) legal assistance to low-income residents of Southeastern Massachusetts.
