Charity Guild "Doo Wop" Concert, Dec. 2

BROCKTON--The Charity Guild’s merry and bright celebration of the season, “A Doo-Wop Holiday,” will be held Friday evening, Dec. 2 at the Martin Institute at Stonehill College.
This concert will include delightful pop tunes of the 50s and 60s as well as yuletide classics.
All proceeds benefit the Guild’s food pantry in its ongoing struggle to feed the hungry and to fight poverty in Brockton.
Featured vocalists will be Lynne Albanese, Nancy Gustafson, Lia Macrina and surprise guests.
Vincent Macrina and the United Brass Quintet will also perform.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for cocktails followed by a buffet at 7, and the concert from 8 to 10 p.m.
Tickets are $55 for dinner and the concert or $25 for the concert alone.
There are four ways to reserve a spot at this always popular event:

*Stop by the Guild at 501 Main Street in Brockton, at the corner of Dover, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
*Easiest of all, go online to www.thecharityguild.org, where you may pay with a credit card or PayPal.
Reservations must be in by Nov. 20.
