Patriotism, Prayer To Honor Service to U.S.

BROCKTON--Brockton will host two events Thursday to celebrate this year's National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 5.
From 4 to 7 p.m. at Brockton City Hall, public officials, police and fire personnel and church leaders will host a remembrance to honor all of those who serve the community from government officials to men and women in the armed forces.
Following the city hall event Faith Family Life Church in Brockton will host a celebration, "God and Country," dedicated to the men and women who have served the U.S. as community and government leaders and military personnel during a celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.
The Faith Family Life celebration will include music, apple pie, ice cream and lemonade.
The event is free and open to all.
